Dafina Zeqiri<\/b> (Albanian:<\/span> <\/span>[<\/span>da\u02c8fina <\/span>z\u025b\u02c8ci\u027ei]<\/span><\/a><\/span>; born 14 April 1989), also known mononymously as Dafina<\/b>, is a Swedish-born Kosovar singer and songwriter who predominantly sings in Albanian<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

Dafina Zeqiri married businessman Kreshnik Gjergji in 2024; the couple have a son named Daskan and are currently expecting their second child. [<\/span>1]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup> [<\/span>2]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n<\/section>

Life and career<\/h2><\/div>\n\n

Dafina Zeqiri was born on 14 April 1989 into an Albanian<\/a> family from Kosovo<\/a> in the city of Varberg<\/a>, Sweden<\/a>.[<\/span>3]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup>[<\/span>4]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup> Her siblings are Tringa Zeqiri and Besa Tafari n\u00e9e<\/i> Zeqiri.[<\/span>5]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup>[<\/span>6]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup>[<\/span>7]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup> Dafina's father, Nebih Bajraktari, left her family at a very early age and was absent since then.[<\/span>8]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup>[<\/span>9]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup> He later gave a public speech asking her to forgive him, although Dafina never made any replies.[<\/span>10]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup> Her mother is Melihate Zeqiri, a former singer in the 1980s.[<\/span>11]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n

In 2007, Zeqiri performed at Polifest Festival and was nominated for her song, \"Rrall\u00eb e P\u00ebrmall\u00eb,\" and eventually won the competition. In 2008, Zeqiri received a BOOM Award Nomination for her song \"Adios,\" and was awarded with the audience award. In the same year, she launched her first album titled Knock Down<\/i>. Shortly afterwards, in her continued participation in K\u00ebnga Magjike<\/a>, she received the \"First Magic\" award for her song, \"Baterit\u00eb\".<\/p>\n\n

Zeqiri's success continued with two collaborations with singers Blero & F-Kay with the song \"La Vida Loca\" and Capital T & 2po2, \"Shum\u00eb Nalt\u00eb\". In May 2009, she won \"Best RNB\" in Top Fest 6 with the song \"Dua q\u00eb ta di\". During 2009, two of her clips were very successful: \"Shum\u00eb Larg\" (directed by Stamps Pictures) and \"Amazing Girl\" (directed by Entermedia).[<\/span>12]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup>[<\/span>13]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/sup> In 2010, she traveled to Australia to shoot the music video for \"Rock This Club.\" In December 2011, Zeqiri released the song D&G included, a song she has made with Albanian rapper Getoar Selimi.
